1. Ποια δεδομένα αποθηκεύουμε;

• Account info — email address, display name, and authentication provider (Google, Apple, Facebook, or email).
• Usage counters — daily operation counts used to enforce the free-tier limit.
• Subscription info — Stripe customer ID and subscription status (if you subscribed to Pro).
• Uploaded files — we do not store any files you process. Browser-based tools never upload your files. Server-side tools delete files immediately after processing.

2. Πώς να ζητήσετε διαγραφή δεδομένων

You have two options:

Option A — Self-service (instant)

1. Sign in to your account at pdfgenie.io/sign-in
2. Go to Account
3. If you have a Pro subscription, cancel it first via “Manage subscription”
4. Click “Sign out”
5. Then send us a deletion request via the contact form below

Option B — Contact form request

Submit a request through our contact form with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your account. We will:

• Delete your Firebase Authentication account
• Delete your Firestore user document and all usage records
• Cancel any active Stripe subscription and delete the customer record
• Confirm deletion via email within 7 business days

3. Τι συμβαίνει μετά τη διαγραφή;

• Your account and all personal data are permanently removed from our systems.
• If you had a Pro subscription, it is cancelled immediately with no further charges.
• You can still use PDF Genie as an anonymous visitor (10 free operations per day).
• This action is irreversible — you would need to create a new account to sign in again.

4. Διατήρηση δεδομένων για νομικές υποχρεώσεις

Billing records (transaction amounts and dates, but not payment card details) may be retained for up to 10 years as required by applicable tax and accounting law. No personal document content is ever retained.
