Terms of Service

1. The Service

PDF Genie provides a suite of online tools to merge, split, compress, convert, and otherwise manipulate PDF and related document files. Most tools run entirely in your web browser; a subset requires processing on our servers (e.g. Office ↔ PDF conversions).

2. Accounts

You may use PDF Genie anonymously for up to 10 operations per day. Creating an account (via Google, Apple, or email/password) is required to subscribe to Pro and to access paid features. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

3. Free and Pro plans

The Free plan includes 10 operations per day and is supported by ads. The Pro plan costs $7 USD per month, removes ads, and lifts the daily operations cap. Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment card details. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Refunds: Because subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time, we generally do not offer pro-rated refunds. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at the address below and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the files you upload or process using the Service. We claim no ownership over your content. You represent that you have the right to process each file you submit.

Server-side processing (e.g. Office conversions) is ephemeral: files are deleted from our servers immediately after conversion completes. For browser-based tools, your files never leave your device.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload files that contain malware or violate any law;
• Upload content you do not have the right to process;
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service (including automated mass-submission);
• Use the Service to infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also change these Terms; material changes will be announced on the site and via the email associated with your account, where applicable.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that conversions will preserve formatting perfectly or that output will be free of errors.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Genie and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the account page. We may terminate or suspend access to the Service at our discretion, particularly in case of violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the free-zone regulations under which Loop Mobile FZCO is registered. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence require otherwise.
