Refund Policy

The short version

New PDF Genie Pro subscriptions come with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If Pro isn't right for you, email support@pdfgenie.io within 7 days of your first payment and we'll refund the full amount — no questions asked.

Who qualifies

The 7-day money-back guarantee applies to:

  • Your first Pro subscription payment.
  • Subscriptions that are refunded within 7 calendar days of the original charge (UTC).

Renewal payments are not automatically refundable — but you can cancel at any time and keep Pro access until the end of the paid period. If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a renewal you didn't want, contact us: we handle the vast majority of these cases with a goodwill refund.

How to request a refund

  1. Email support@pdfgenie.io from the same address you used to sign up.
  2. Tell us you'd like a refund. You don't need a reason, but we appreciate honest feedback so we can improve.
  3. We'll confirm by email within one business day and process the refund via Stripe. Funds typically land back in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer.

Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future billing immediately; Pro features remain active until the end of the current paid period.

Chargebacks

Please email us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We can almost always resolve billing issues faster than the chargeback process, and chargebacks cost both parties additional fees.

Statutory rights

This policy is in addition to, not in place of, any mandatory consumer-protection rights under applicable local law. EU/UK customers specifically have additional cancellation rights during the first 14 days of a new subscription; those rights apply here just as this policy does.
